The goal is to provide consumers with a genuine choice regarding the collection, storage, and use of their personal data. As part of the investigation, consent management platforms and cookies set by over 1,000 websites are being reviewed.<br>&nbsp;<br>The ICO has already examined the top 200 UK websites and found data protection violations on 134 (67%) of them.
