The AI Office, as a competence center of the EU Commission, supports the development and deployment of trustworthy AI and serves as the foundation for a unified European AI governance system.<br>&nbsp;<br>A key takeaway from the webinar: Companies must document the AI literacy of their employees; however, a formal certificate is only required for the use of high-risk AI systems. A one-time basic training is not sufficient, training should be context-specific and tailored to employees\u2019 respective roles and prior knowledge.<br>&nbsp;<br>A tiered training approach is recommended: a general basic course on AI fundamentals, followed by advanced, specialized training for experienced employees who use AI for specific applications.<br>&nbsp;<br>This practice-oriented approach not only ensures compliance with regulatory requirements but also enhances the effective and secure use of AI in companies.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of February, the European AI Office hosted a webinar on AI literacy under Art. 4 AI Act.
