From 2 February 2025, the requirements of Chapter I (General provisions) and Chapter II (Prohibited AI practices) of the AI Act will apply. This affects the ban on some AI practices and the development of AI literacy within the company. Prohibited AI practices under Art. 5 AI Act may no longer be used from then on. These include, for example, certain forms of behavioural manipulation and exploitation of weaknesses or vulnerabilities, social scoring, facial recognition databases, emotion recognition in the workplace and biometric categorisation. In addition, AI expertise must be developed in accordance with Art. 4 AI Act. If you start training employees at an early stage, you can prevent risks and already prepare for the other more complex upcoming obligations of the AI Act. Are you already prepared?
