On 17 June 2025, the Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e. V. (TeleTrusT) published a completely revised version of its guidance document ‘State of the Art in IT Security’. This is TeleTrusT’s response to the dynamic developments and increasing requirements in the area of data protection and IT security, for example as a result of the IT Security Act and the GDPR.
The updated guide contains practical recommendations for businesses, IT security providers and consultants. It helps to implement legal requirements with specific technical and organisational measures and to achieve an appropriate level of protection for IT systems.
